We at Aakash Pathology Laboratory understand the need to conduct business ethically and work towards betterment of society. Using this principle we have always provided heavy discounts in charges for poor, needy and men in uniform including relatives of those working in police and defence forces.
As a continuation of our commitment ,we did not raise the cost of investigations during the Covid pandemic despite worldwide increase in prices of input materials including diagnostic chemicals during that time. We also readily complied with Price cap on RT -PCR as mandated by the government during that time.
We collaborated and contributed to the treatment of a poor tribal girl with serious surgical problems at S.I.D.S Hospital, Surat.
We are working with Sakhi Char Chowghi Trust, an N.G.O.based at Malad, Mumbai, which is working for betterment of Queer (LGBTIQA+) community. We have donated fans as well as Refrigerator for preserving medicines for the affected persons including those who are suffering from H.I.V./A.I.D.S.
We are contributing to Bhukhiya nu Bhojan a local Charitable Organisation that provided free food to needy with special emphasis on Women and Children.
We are firm believers in the effectiveness of timely and appropriate measures in preventing unfortunate incidents. In partnership with the traffic police department, we have launched initiatives to provide and apply complimentary reflectors, stickers, and other fluorescent materials to cyclists, as well as tractor and dumpster owners who often neglect proper reflector usage. These efforts are targeted at diminishing traffic accidents caused by poor visibility, especially during night time.
