Our Story
Established in 2005, Aakash Pathology Laboratory is one of the oldest running pathology laboratories in Ankleshwar. Founded on the pillars of honesty, discipline, hard work, experience, and technical expertise. During its founding years , Ankleshwar was a small town lacking specialized pathology facilities. Therefore, patients had to travel to nearby cities for pathology services. Aakash Pathology Laboratory played a pioneering role in introducing various specialized diagnostic investigations in the industrial town.
A.P.L. was among the first in the city to offer services such as:
- Pap Test smear reporting (for early detection of cervical cancer).
- Fine-Needle Biopsy and F.N.A.C.(Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) including Sonography guided F.N.A.C. for outpatient diagnosis of all kinds of swellings.
- Culture and Sensitivity: Tests for detecting bacteria and recommending antibiotics in urine, blood and body fluids.
- Acid-Fast and Gram staining: For identifying microorganisms including those causing Tuberculosis.
- Advanced Nephelometry tests: For accurate diagnosis of urine microalbumin in diabetics and other renal conditions, for diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.
- Bone marrow test reporting: For diagnosis of complicated Anemia and other blood conditions.
APL continues to gain the trust and confidence of patients and Doctors alike. With around two decades of service, APL has set the standards and raised the bar for diagnostic laboratory medicine in the area.
